Some big car manufacturers have been caught red-handed fitting "defeat devices" to their vehicles, going around EU and UK emissions laws. This has led to thousands of UK vehicle owners paying extra for cars they thought were eco-friendly. Now, it's estimated that as many as 10 million diesel vehicles could be affected – and yours might be one of them.

If you've owned, leased, or financed a diesel vehicle from any of the manufacturers listed below (made between 2009 and 2019), you could be in line for a claim worth up to £10,000 per vehicle.
